today was an okay day. i had early start because i fell asleep at 8:30 last night, so i ended up waking up at 5:30. first, i woke up at 5 but i went back to bed, then i woke up at 5:30 and i couldn’t fall back asleep, so i woke up and curled my hair again! i wore a peach v-neck from American Apparel with a burnt orange tribal bodycon skirt from Forever 21. i wore my Jeffrey Campbell boots because i love them so much. my hair was only half-curled because i have too much hair to do in the time i had. so i braided the bottom half of my hair so it had some texture, but it looked bad.

i’ve been sick for the past week and i’m finally losing my voice! it’s really exciting because i have tried so many times before to lose my voice, but i never have! i think i might! but having voice cracks whenever i talk is really annoying. oh well!

today, at our district’s middle school, there was a terrorist threat and the state police and k9 units were called in. they locked down the school and swept the whole school. it is really sad that kids that are that young are tortured enough to make a threat against everyone that they’ve grown up with. i hope that nothing like that ever happens for real, and i wish i could be there for everyone to talk to. i know what it’s like to not have anyone and i wish that no one else would ever feel that awful gut-wrenching feeling.

this was Wednesday’s outfit! i had woken up at 5 because i didn’t finish my homework because our new couches lulled me to sleep. i finished my work quickly and i had time so i curled my hair! i wore a sequined striped shirt from Forever 21. there is a keyhole in the back of the shirt. i wore some skinny jeans from Abercrombie and Fitch. my shoes were my Jeffrey Campbell boots that i love SO much.

sorry for the long period of no posts but i have been sooo busy. the frenchies were here and i had so much homework and it just has been stressful. i don’t even remember exactly what i wore on each of the days that i actually took pictures for but ill try.

this week was spirit week and the first day was 60s day! i wore a fringe three quarter sleeved elephant shirt from Brandy Melville. i curled my hair and wore a hippie band on my head, a teal studded headband from Urban Outfitters. i wore dark skinny jeans and my Jeffrey Campbell lace-up boots.

i don’t know exactly what compelled me to wear this particular outfit today but whatever. i’m wearing a burgundy blazer and a cream lace tank top, both from Forever 21. i am wearing dark jeggings from Abercrombie & Fitch and i wore my Jeffrey Campbell boots. the cuff that i wore is one that i bought in Hawaii this past summer from Brandy Melville. it was so cheap but the metal is so hard and i can’t bend it to fit my wrist:(

it turns out that the bio test that was scheduled for Monday got moved to Tuesday, but i’m going to Niagara Falls that day, so i get to take it on Wednesday! yayyyy! also, the frenchies are supposed to be here in an hour and a half, but they got stuck in Jersey. stupid weather.

today, i was originally wearing a dress but then at the last minute, i decided that i didn’t like the way the dress felt on, so i changed. i changed into my ethnic skirt from Nordstrom B.P. and a loose army green dolman-esque top from h&m. i wore my Steve Madden over-the-knee boots. my hair was first down, then in a braid, and i ended with a ponytail. later tonight though, i’m predicting a topknot. off topic, but i can’t wait to watch psych! i wore a warrior cuff that i bought in italy two summers ago and a dome studded leather bracelet from Nordstrom, i think.. and that’s it for the outfit!

after school today, i had to stay for an extra hour to put like 100 flyers. it was ridiculous. now i have to do homework, go to the grocery store, and finishing cleaning for the frenchies because they come tomorrow! so excited!

today i had a student council breakfast meeting at 6:30. guess who woke up at 6:10 and still had to shower? yeah, that would be me. i took the fastest shower ever and thank god i didn’t have to eat because that takes me like an hour! i just threw on a tank top and a jacket and some jeans and ran out the door. the tank top is from American Eagle, blazer is from Forever 21, and the jeans are another pair of Gilly Hicks jeggings. i wore my light blue hi-top Converse and a navy, cone studded, leather wrap bracelet just for fun. the bracelet is from Nordstrom B.P. i put it on at school and i was struggling because i couldn’t get the buckle to close! i got to school at like 6:35 and the president wasn’t even there! what the heck? he didn’t even show up. his excuse was that no one told him, but he was there when we discussed it earlier that week. whatever, he didn’t get a ginormous delicious muffin for breakfast!

i was running around like a headless chicken for the rest of the morning because there was so much i had to do! i had to the announcements that were as thick as an encyclopedia and then i had PSATs. now i’m tired from babysitting and having a busy day. but of course, i can’t just sleep because i have piles of homework to do. sweet life.

we had a four day weekend, but i had a five day weekend. on thursday, i stayed home from school because i couldn’t get out of bed. well today was dreadful and i am super tired. i wore my black Nordstrom B.P. sweater and a striped lace inset racerback tank top from urban outfitters. i wore a black cami underneath because i was not about to expose my fupa. i wore some Gilly Hicks jeggings and my Steve Madden combat boots. my hair was originally in a braid but it kept falling out so i threw it up in a ponytail.

october 5, Steve Jobs passed away and October 6, my magnificent dog/sister, Maggie, passed away. i made a bracelet that says “Maggie the Magnificent” because she really was and that was her middle name. also, when we were a lot younger, we thought Maggie’s favorite color was green so i made a majority of it green. I love you Mags! I miss you more than you even know! in one of the pictures, that was me attempting to hide the mess in the room.

just like every other day, i woke up late. no surprise there. but i wore a chiffon tribal button-up shirt from Forever 21, a gray tank top underneath, and h&m jeans. i wore my steve madden combat boots from a few years ago. my hair is up in a ballet bun because i slept with it weird, so it was just poofy. i needed something to conceal it.

today was an easy day because i woke up late and i still had still do homework, typical jessicaa. i wore a teal tank top from Nordstrom B.P. a gray zip-up hoodie from Forever 21. i just needed something quick to throw on over my top. i wore some True Religion jeans that i LOVE. i love the pockets and how they fit. i just wore my light blue Converse. i was sooooo fashionable today…not.

so today in computer apps, my friend and i were extrememly productive. we went on verizon’s website to look at phones for my friend and then we chatted with alexander l. after that, we went to bestbuy’s website because she wants to trade stuff in for money.

i was so tired today. i think i fell asleep in my bio class… my teacher didn’t catch me though!

Okay, so these are out of order, but the picture I am wearing the navy blue tank top is from the third rush party - Beer Olympics. I felt like a little cheerleader again with the angle and what not, but my babydoll is from Madewell and shorts are from UO. I wore a white lace bandeau from UO as well.

The other outfits are from the Alpha Chi induction party. I wore the black lace tank from Nordstrom Rack and skirt from Forever 21. I, once again, wore my Preview heels from Nordstrom Rack. I’m pictured with my best friend and some of my other favorites as well. Now that rush is over, it is such a relief. A hugeeeee weight off of my shoulders, and I couldn’t be prouder of the people that I was able to bring in with my fellow rush chairs.

Now as a Rush Chair..or a recruitment chair..for Phi Gamma Nu, my Professional Co-ed Business Fraternity, we were in charge of planning three rush socials. The first was themed Anything But Cups, second was High School Cliques: Nerds vs. Jocks, and the third was Beer Olympics. These pictures are from, as you can probably guess, the second social. I had so much fun planning my outfit, and frankly, I had been working on it since I was studying abroad in Japan this past spring. I love my Marvel superheroes so I wore this shirt with lime green Hot Topic suspenders. I paired it with my AE denim shorts, Ralph Lauren knee-high socks, and my gray Converse. My nerd glasses were from Nordstrom BP. and my red heart clip is from UO a very long long time ago! To be honest, it wouldn’t be too out of the ordinary for me to wear what I am wearing here on a normal basis..well maybe not all together but regardless, you know what I mean! Everyone loved my suspenders, and it was definitely a fun night! The rushes seemed to have fun too! I mean we did end up getting 78 interviews and gave out 28 bids to make a 27 people of the Alpha Chi pledge class. I’m a proud parent to all of these children, and my best friend pictured with me is the pledge educator that took them out of my hands for the rest of the semester. It will be interesting to see how all of this goes. I love having new babies.

No matter how ridiculous you may look, if you have confidence, you will look fabulous. You’ll certainly make a statement. So don’t be embarrassed to go all out if you want to. Don’t hold back!!
